BMS Account Manager

London/South East

£60,000-£70,000 Basic + Bonus/Commission + Company Car + Benefits

An established building controls and energy management specialist is looking to recruit a BMS Account Manager to develop and manage relationships with customers across the building automation sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong technical offering across Building Management Systems (BMS), energy efficiency and intelligent building solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities and helping customers improve the performance and efficiency of their buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to grow accounts and increase revenue.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across commercial buildings, end users, consultants, contractors and other relevant stakeholders.
• Promote BMS, building controls and energy management solutions to new and existing customers.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial tenders in collaboration with internal technical teams.
• Work closely with project delivery, engineering and service teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline, managing opportunities from initial engagement through to successful completion.
• Monitor market activity and identify opportunities to expand the company's presence within the building controls sector.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to the wider commercial growth of the business.

Desired Experience

• Previous experience in a BMS Account Manager, Business Development Manager or similar commercial role.
• Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems, building controls or the wider building automation industry.
• Experience managing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities.
• Understanding of BMS projects, service contracts, upgrades and energy management solutions.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially focused with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into revenue.
• Full UK driving licence.
