Join a Luxury Restaurant in Colchester Town Centre

We're looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a well-established luxury restaurant in the heart of Colchester. As Chef de Partie, you'll play an important role in delivering consistently high-quality dishes while supporting the wider kitchen team. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of your section, contribute fresh ideas, and help maintain the restaurant's excellent reputation.

• Independently run the breakfast, starter, or dessert section.
• Complete daily preparation, ordering, and kitchen administration.
• Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards.
• Contribute new ideas, techniques, and menu inspiration.
• Support and motivate colleagues while helping the kitchen operate efficiently.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has at least one year's experience working in a professional kitchen.
• Is passionate about cooking with quality ingredients.
• Has a positive attitude, confidence, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of hospitality.
• Is organised, reliable, and works well under pressure.
• Takes pride in delivering outstanding food and guest experiences.

• 40-45 hours per week over 4-5 days.
• Two guaranteed days off each week (Monday and Tuesday).
• A variety of shifts, including:
  • 7:30am - 3:00pm
  • 9:00am - 4:00pm
  • 4:00pm - 11:00pm
  • 9:00am - 11:00pm (with a two-hour break)
• Closed every year on 25th and 26th December.
