CNC Miller 

Location: Basildon
Salary: £37,599 basic + 33% shift allowance (£50,006 annually)

An international aerospace manufacturer is recruiting two experienced CNC Millers with 3-axis or 5-axis machining experience, ideally using Mazak or Doosan equipment.

Duties

• Set and operate milling machines to manufacture precision components from engineering drawings.

• Maintain tight tolerances and inspect finished parts using measuring equipment.

• Follow quality procedures and relevant ISO standards.

• Maintain machinery, uphold safety standards and minimise production waste.

• Support continuous improvement, energy efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

• Time-served CNC setter/operator with relevant certificates.

• Experience with 3-axis or 5-axis machining centres.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.

• Strong inspection skills, attention to detail and computer literacy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Aerospace experience desirable.
