We're looking for an experienced Commercial Assistant to join our Commercial Team in Chatham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of the waste and recycling sector and is confident managing contracts, supporting customer accounts and working closely with operational teams.

The role

You'll play a key role in supporting the Commercial Team by:

• Raising and managing customer contracts through the CRM system
• Supporting commercial queries and maintaining customer accounts
• Liaising with operational sites to obtain forecasts and commercial information
• Producing and maintaining accurate commercial reports and records
• Managing new customer and supplier set-ups
• Providing high-quality administrative support across the Commercial Team

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Previous commercial administration experience within the waste and recycling industry (essential)
• At least one year's experience in a commercial, sales support or contracts administration role
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across commercial and operational teams
• Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook
• The ability to prioritise workloads and work accurately in a busy environment
