Commercial Electrician

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 DOE + Package
Location: East London and surrounding areas
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

A growing electrical contractor is looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of commercial projects, delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance and testing in a safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in commercial properties and communal areas.
• Carry out work on lateral mains, lighting and metal containment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Inspect, test and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Work closely with project managers and other trades to deliver projects on time.
• Maintain accurate records and a safe, organised working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician.
• Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical installations and compliance.
