Document Controller - 4 Projects/ Viewpoint

Full-time site based in Loughton

Need to have Construction industry experience

Essential Abilities, Duties and Responsibilities

Document Management & Control

• Manage and coordinate the flow of project information between internal teams, contractors, and subcontractors.

• Transition all data from the manual system to 4P, working on RFIs, creating & managing drawings and running the technical submission process

• Maintain accurate electronic filing systems across company databases and document management platforms.
• Oversee and update drawing registers, ensuring all project documentation is current and compliant.
• Review, amend, and format documentation to meet project and client requirements before distribution.
• Administer document control platform such as 4 Projects/ Viewpoint.
• Ensure secure handling and distribution of project information in line with company procedures.
• Support the continuous improvement of document control processes and systems.

Key Skills

• Previous experience in a Document Controller role within construction or a related industry.
• Need to have previous experience of using 4 Projects/ Viewpoint (EDMS management system).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Experience working with document management systems and project information platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
