ELECTRICAL COMPLIANCE OFFICER (RENEWABLES DIVISION)

Based - Chingford
£45,000 – £50,000 per annum

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Compliance Officer to join a growing renewables division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background who is looking to move into compliance, QA, and technical support.

Role Overview

You will support the electrical and renewables teams, ensuring compliance, quality assurance, and technical support across PV and ASHP installations.

Key Responsibilities

Office Based:

• Reviewing and checking electrical certificates
• Desktop quality assurance of installation evidence (photos, reports, documentation)
• Supporting electrical team with technical guidance
• DNO application notifications and coordination
• NICEIC and Building Control notifications
• Ordering materials and supporting procurement process
• Assisting with PV system design (training provided)

Site Based:

• Carrying out site inspections and quality checks
• Supporting engineers with compliance and installation standards
• Conducting surveys and technical assessments
• Ensuring works meet electrical regulations and industry standards

Requirements

• Strong background in electrical installation or electrical engineering (essential)
• Experience working on the tools previously
• Good understanding of electrical compliance and QA processes
• Knowledge of PV / ASHP systems (advantageous but not essential)
• Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage documentation
• Full UK driving licence
