Electrical Tester required local to Essex!

We are currently on the lookout for an Electrical Tester to join our client’s growing team. Our client are a NICEIC Approved Electrical Contractor based in Southend serving the Rail, Commercial, Industrial and Domestic Sectors, offering a comprehensive package of Installation, Maintenance, Repair and Testing.

They are looking to take on an Electrical Tester that is also a NICEIC qualified Supervisor on a temp to perm basis. Your role will involve going to different commercial and industrial sites undertaking electrical testing works and acting as an electrical supervisor for the business, with the bulk of their work being based across Essex, London, Norwich and Cambridge areas.

This role is primarily as an Electrical Tester to start with, with an idea to evolve into being the NICEIC QS for the business. This role is suited for someone with extensive Testing & Inspection experience looking to progress into a supervisory role, with strong knowledge of electrical compliance and basic office skills to be able to file certificates etc…

This is a Temp to Perm position, which will initially be 13 weeks through us before going direct with the business.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds 2391-2 Testing, Inspections and Certifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• ECS Gold Card (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2)
• NICEIC Qualified Supervisor.
• Extensive Electrical Testing Experience within Commercial, Industrial and Rail sectors.
• Experience working as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor is Desired but not Essential.
• Computer Literate.

Additional Information:

• Van and Tools provided following Temporary/Probationary period of 3-6 months (Neg.)
• Competitive rate between £250 and £325 per day dependant on experience.
• Overtime available, with overtime rate between 1.25x and 1.50x dependant on Salary.
• 8 Hour Working Day + 45 Minute Lunch.
• CIS Pay available during temporary period if desired.
