Freelance Senior Site Manager – Chelmsford, Essex

New Build Care Home Project | Chelmsford | 4 Months Remaining

Future Build Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a live £19m new-build care home project in Chelmsford on a freelance basis.

Working for a well-established multidisciplinary construction contractor, working alongside the Project Manager you will take a lead role in managing the final stages of this 5-storey care home development. The project is now at the finishing and fit-out stage, with approximately 4 months remaining until completion.

We are looking for a hands-on Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential, care home, or similar new-build projects through to practical completion. You will be responsible for overseeing subcontractors, managing programme delivery, maintaining health and safety standards, and ensuring exceptional quality throughout the finishing phase.

Requirements:

• Previous experience delivering new-build residential, care home, or similar projects
• Strong finishing and fit-out management experience
• Excellent subcontractor coordination and programme management skills
• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• Black or White CSCS Card (desirable)
