Looking for a growing role where you can take ownership, lead a team, and help shape the future of a well-established nursery?

We're working with a long-standing, family-run horticultural business looking to appoint a Production Lead Grower to support their Nursery Operations Manager across propagation, potting and crop production.

You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading teams, maintaining plant quality, and ensuring production stays on track.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading propagation and potting teams
• Managing plant health, irrigation and crop quality
• Planning production schedules and stock requirements
• Running daily team briefings
• Overseeing potting machinery setup and troubleshooting
• Supporting pest and disease management programmes
• Driving high standards across the nursery

• Commercial growing experience within horticulture
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong plant health and irrigation knowledge
• PA1/PA6 spraying certificates
• Good organisational and planning skills
• Practical machinery and problem-solving ability
• A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
