Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Part Time

Location: Gillingham
Hours: 3 days per week
Employment Type: Part-time

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Gillingham on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance engineer looking for a flexible part-time role within a busy working environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, helping to ensure our machinery, systems and facilities remain safe, reliable and operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Maintain machinery, equipment and site services.
• Identify potential problems and carry out preventative repairs.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Work closely with the wider team to minimise equipment downtime.
• Follow all relevant health & safety procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience as an electrical/mechanical maintenance engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• A proactive approach to maintenance and safety.
• Relevant electrical/mechanical qualifications or demonstrable experience.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

The hours of work are 6.00am - 2.00pm, however there can be some flexibility with this.
