Management Accountant

Basildon, Hybrid Working

£40,000 - £45,000 – Depending on stage of Qualification.

We’re working with an established and growing, fast-moving organisation in Basildon who are looking to strengthen their finance team with the addition of a Management Accountant.

The role

This is a broad Management Accounts role where you’ll support multiple entities within the group.

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Carrying out variance analysis (actual vs budget, income/expenditure, aged debtors)
• Supporting group month-end reporting
• Preparing and submitting income flash reports
• Assisting with statutory accounts
• Preparing FCA returns (RMAR)
• Getting involved in wider finance projects and process improvements
• Overseeing purchase ledger and cashbook routines

About you

• Qualified or part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Around 3+ years’ experience in a management accounts role
• Exposure to an FCA/PRA regulated environment
• SOX knowledge would be a bonus, but not essential
