Circa £45,000 + Travel Payments + Benefits

Prime Appointments are recruiting an experienced Mechanical Service Technician for a leading engineering services provider supporting the Energy, Power Generation, Refinery, Utilities and Heavy Engineering sectors.

This role is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Rotating Equipment Engineer or Maintenance Engineer with experience servicing industrial machinery.

• Service, maintain, repair and overhaul rotating equipment, including pumps and turbines
• Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs on industrial plant
• Perform alignment, inspection and precision measurements
• Support planned shutdowns, outages and reactive maintenance
• Complete service reports and technical documentation
• Travel to customer sites across the UK (90% within one hour of Wickford)

• ONC, HNC, NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with pumps, turbines, compressors or other rotating equipment
• Background in power generation, energy, refinery, utilities or heavy engineering
• Strong fault finding and mechanical diagnostics skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Willing to join a 1-in-5 callout rota

• Circa £45,000 salary
