Mobile Vehicle Technician in Bishops Stortford!

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable and well-established automotive company seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team covering the Bishops Stortford area. This position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled automotive technicians to work in a varied environment, servicing and repairing vehicles at customers’ locations.

Duties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct servicing, general maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on customer vehicles at their premises or workplaces
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support during onsite visits
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards
• Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, using diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings effectively
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships, promoting excellent service standards
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices
• Stay updated with technical advancements and training provided by the employer

Requirements needed of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:

• NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience in vehicle servicing and repairs
• Full UK driving licence
• Customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills
• Electrical and diagnostic experience is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Flexibility to service vehicles across the Bishops Stortford area
