The Role:

• Teach engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire students to develop their musical skills and creativity.
• Support students in developing their knowledge of music theory, performance and composition.
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
• Contribute to the wider life of the Music department and school community.
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement.

The Ideal Music Teacher:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.
• Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Music education.
• Is confident delivering engaging and creative lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is committed, reliable and enthusiastic.
