Travel: Must be willing to visit various line stations across the UK
We are looking for an experienced Operations Maintenance Manager with a strong Line Maintenance background to manage multiple UK line stations and support the delivery of safe, efficient and commercially effective maintenance operations.
The Operations Maintenance Manager will lead Station Managers and operational teams, ensuring strong performance across safety, compliance, customer service, manpower planning, budgets and operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple line maintenance stations / business units across the UK
Lead and develop Station Managers and operational teams
Drive operational performance, safety, compliance and customer satisfaction
Manage budgets, costs, resources and manpower deployment across the network
Support efficient recovery of operational disruptions and AOG situations
Build strong relationships with airline customers and internal stakeholders
Maintain performance against agreed KPIs
Support continuous improvement across processes, productivity and operational efficiency
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with aviation standards, OH&S and FRMS requirements
Requirements
Strong Line Maintenance background
Engineering degree or Aircraft Maintenance Licence, such as UK CAA / EASA or equivalent
Minimum 10 years’ experience in line maintenance
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role
Experience managing remote teams across multiple locations
Strong commercial awareness, including budget and resource management
Good knowledge of UK CAA / EASA aviation standards within an airline maintenance environment
Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience driving operational improvement, productivity and change
