Job Description:

We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a skilled PDI Technician to join a reputable dealership located in Rayleigh, Essex. This PDI Technician role offers an excellent opportunity for motivated automotive professionals seeking career development within a dynamic and professional environment. The successful PDI Technician will play a key part in ensuring the highest standards of vehicle quality and safety.

Duties:

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on vehicles to meet quality and safety standards
• Preparing vehicles for handover to customers, including detailing and minor repairs
• Assisting with vehicle checks and basic maintenance tasks
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workshop area
• Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and dealership standards

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Damage Repair or equivalent
• Ideally 1-2 years of experience working within a workshop environment
• Knowledge of PDI procedures and basic vehicle preparation
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality standards
• Reliable and professional attitude, with good communication skills
