Job Description:

Picker/Packer – Wickford, Essex
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
Location: Wickford

We’re recruiting an experienced Picker/Packer to join a busy warehouse team in Wickford. This role is ideal for someone who has recently worked in a warehouse or picking/packing environment and is confident working at pace.

The Role

• Picking customer orders accurately using a handheld scanner
• Following pick lists and location codes to find stock
• Packing orders carefully and securely, ready for dispatch
• Labelling parcels and checking orders for accuracy before they leave the warehouse
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and organised
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required

What We’re Looking For

• Recent previous warehouse or picker/packer experience is essential
• Confident using handheld scanners (training on site systems provided)
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail when working at speed
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable being on your feet for most of the shift and handling light to medium lifting.
