Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Havering. 

This role involves supporting pupils as they transition into Key Stage 1, building on early learning foundations and helping children develop independence and confidence. 

You will be: 

• Teaching a Year 1 class within a mainstream primary setting 

• Planning and delivering engaging, interactive lessons 

• Supporting pupils’ early learning, independence, and confidence 

• Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment 

• Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team 

The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching in a primary school setting.
