Previous experience within the window and door (fenestration) industry is essential for this position. Candidates without relevant fenestration experience will not be considered, as a strong understanding of window and door products, processes and industry requirements is required for the role.

Project Manager – Windows & Doors

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established business within the window and door industry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in managing commercial glazing, aluminium, uPVC, or façade projects from order through to completion.

You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple window and door projects from contract award through to completion.
• Plan project programmes, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, site teams, contractors, architects, and suppliers throughout each project.
• Attend site meetings and carry out regular site visits.
• Monitor project costs and assist with budget control.
• Manage variations, valuations, and project documentation.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Resolve project issues quickly to minimise delays.
• Support successful project handovers and final accounts.

Requirements

• Previous Project Management experience within the window, door, glazing, or façade industry.
• Strong understanding of commercial installation projects.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Full UK driving licence.
