If you're an experienced Project Manager looking for a role with genuine variety, this could be exactly what you're after.

Working for a respected and expanding contractor, you'll take full responsibility for delivering refurbishment, fit out, maintenance and construction projects across London and the South East. Operating from the company's Basildon office, you'll oversee schemes from the first client enquiry through to final handover, ensuring every project is delivered safely, profitably and to a high standard.

No two projects are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple workstreams and taking ownership throughout the entire project lifecycle.

What You'll Be Responsible For
You'll be trusted to manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing refurbishment, fit out, maintenance and construction projects from inception through to completion.
• Producing and reviewing quotations, project costs and variations.
• Planning programmes and coordinating labour, subcontractors, suppliers and materials.
• Building strong working relationships with clients while providing regular project updates.
• Working closely with site teams and internal departments to ensure projects run efficiently.
• Monitoring commercial performance and identifying opportunities to maximise profitability.
• Ensuring all works comply with health & safety legislation, company procedures and industry best practice.

 
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with experienced Project Managers who have successfully delivered construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.
You'll ideally have:

• At least five years' experience managing refurbishment, fit out, maintenance or general construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning and commercial management.
• The ability to price works, manage costs and administer project variations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple live projects.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• A full UK Driving Licence.
