Biology Teacher – Wickford (Full Time)
Gold Education Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming secondary school in Wickford, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join their Science department on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to teach Biology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate, within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 opportunities
Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
Supporting students to develop analytical, investigative, and practical scientific skills
Preparing students for GCSE examinations and coursework requirements
Assessing work and providing clear, constructive feedback
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Working collaboratively within a supportive Science department
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Biology in a UK secondary school or college
Strong subject knowledge and an engaging teaching approach
Ability to inspire curiosity and a love of Biology in students
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Professional, reliable, and adaptable attitude
ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
