We are working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Harlow, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QTS Physics Teacher. This Harlow school is committed to delivering high-quality science education, inspiring curiosity and critical thinking while supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes across Key Stages.

Job Overview:

• This school caters for students aged 11-16.
• Full-time, Monday - Friday, Physics Teacher role.
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach Physics as your specialist subject while contributing to the wider Science curriculum where required.
• Inspire students through practical experiments and engaging lessons that develop scientific enquiry, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure strong attainment.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team.
• Contribute to curriculum development, intervention programmes and STEM enrichment opportunities.

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A degree in Physics or a closely related subject.
• Experience teaching Physics at secondary level across KS3 and KS4.
• A passion for Physics and the ability to engage, motivate and challenge learners.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• A proactive, positive and collaborative approach to teaching.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
