The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working alongside teachers and specialist staff to help pupils achieve their goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality learning activities for individuals, small groups, and whole classes when required.
• Supporting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and assessment.
• Leading lessons in the absence of a teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported.
• Delivering targeted interventions that help pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs to access learning and achieve success.
• Building positive relationships that encourage confidence, independence, and resilience.
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure every pupil receives the support they need.
