The Role

As an SEMH Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to help pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop the confidence, resilience, and life skills they need to thrive.

You'll:

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Build positive, trusting relationships that help young people feel safe and valued.
• Encourage emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour.
• Support learning both inside and outside the classroom.
• Help deliver personalised strategies that meet each pupil's individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team to achieve the very best outcomes.
