Are you looking for a new Teaching Assistant opportunity? - September 2026

Seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to work in the mainstream classroom of a Romford school supporting KS1 children with Learning Difficulties.

Teaching Assistant Role & Requirements:

• Support teaching and learning with children in a KS1 classroom.
• Provide targeted support to children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, Speech & Language needs)
• Assist in delivering engaging and differentiated activities.
• Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Help the children develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
• Experience & skills to work with KS1 children.
• Understanding of SEN support strategies within a classroom.
• A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Happy to assist with personal care if needed.
• L2/L3 Teaching Assistant/ Care or Send qualification.
