Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a leading organisation based in Basildon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to advance their career within a reputable company that values technical expertise and dedication.

• Competitive basic salary of £39,729, with an achievable OTE of up to £45,729 depending on experience.
• Full-time, permanent contract with operational hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm.
• Paid overtime for Saturday morning shifts on a 1 in 3 rota.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vehicles, including cars and vans, across multiple makes and models.
• Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently both independently and under supervision.
• Repair vehicles to meet safety and road worthiness standards as a Vehicle Technician.
• Work within a friendly and professional team environment.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout all tasks as a Vehicle Technician.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays on a rota basis, if required, with overtime paid accordingly.

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanical Repair or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of car and light commercial vehicle mechanics.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative in diagnosing and repairing faults.
• Good organisational skills and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
• Reside within a reasonable distance of Basildon, Essex.
• Experience working on multiple vehicle makes and models preferred.
• Enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
