Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our reputable client in Benfleet, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop and develop their career within a professional, well-equipped environment.

• Monday to Friday working hours, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct mechanical repairs and servicing on a diverse range of vehicles
• Assist with fault diagnosis and vehicle inspections
• Perform general mechanical tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Support workshop productivity and ensure work complies with manufacturer standards 
• Optional involvement in MOT testing; MOT tester qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
• Maintain health and safety standards within the workshop environment

Requirements:

• Recognised qualification as a Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Proven experience in vehicle mechanical repairs and diagnostics
• Valid driving licence; MOT testing licence is preferable but not essential
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing quality work
