Warehouse Operative (Returns Department)

Location: Dagenham
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm
Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing

Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy Returns Department based in Dagenham. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established distribution business offering consistent Monday to Friday work with no weekend shifts mandatory.

Working within the returns team, you will be responsible for processing returned products, carrying out quality inspections, updating stock records and ensuring returned goods are handled efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing returned goods accurately and efficiently
• Inspecting returned items for damage, faults or missing components
• Booking returned stock back into the warehouse management system
• Repackaging products ready for redistribution where required
• Reporting damaged or faulty goods to supervisors
• Maintaining accurate records and paperwork
• Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
• Working to daily productivity and quality targets

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred
• Returns or quality control experience would be advantageous
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable using scanners or warehouse systems
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
