Job Description:

Our client, is a Principal Contractor established in August 2010. Their team is committed to delivering value, quality, and excellence in everything they do. They deliver high-quality refurbishment and construction services across commercial, residential, and public-sector projects. From full building renovations to modern interior fit-outs, they manage every stage- design, planning, and construction- to transform spaces efficiently and sustainably.

They are now looking for a Commercial Assistant / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a full time, permanent bases ate their office in Brentwood, Essex. 

💼 Salary: £28,000
📅 Start Date: Within a few weeks of a successful interview

The Role
You’ll support the commercial team with a strong focus on:

• Procurement and tendering processes
• Scope analysis and take-offs
• Negotiating with subcontractors
• Assisting in cost management across projects

Ideal Experience

• 6 months – 2 years’ experience on the contracting side
• Experience attending site visits at tender stage (preferred but not essential)

• Keen to be part of a small, highly coordinated team
• Eager to develop a broad understanding of construction and commercial processes
• Motivated to grow skills in procurement, tendering, and project delivery
