Customer Service Advisor

Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday with a Saturday on a rota basis 

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join a growing and professional organisation based in Southend-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous customer service or contact centre experience who enjoys helping people and delivering a high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers via telephone and email.
• Deliver a professional, friendly and efficient customer experience.
• Accurately record and update customer information on internal systems.
• Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely updates.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure queries are resolved efficiently.
• Work to agreed service standards and performance targets.

About You

• Previous experience in a customer service or call centre environment.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
• Confident using computer systems and learning new processes.
• A positive, proactive approach with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Well organised and able to manage a busy workload.
